The Gordon Highlanders Museum is based in Aberdeen, Scotland and celebrates the story of the Gordon Highlanders regiment, which originated as the 92nd Regiment of Foot in 1794, merged with the 75th Regiment of Foot to form the Gordon Highlanders in 1881 and was then amalgamated into a new larger unit of the British Army in 1994. Rubislaw Quarry is a quarry situated at the Hill of Rubislaw in the west end of the city of Aberdeen, Scotland. The quarry is one of the biggest man-made holes in Europe at approximately 466 ft. deep, and with a diameter of 394 ft. Rubislaw quarry is situated 1,600 feet northeast of Athletic Edge.
