Morecambe Winter Gardens

The Winter Gardens is a Grade II* listed building in Morecambe, Lancashire, England. Designed by architects Mangnall and Littlewood, with Frank Matcham as a consulting architect, it was originally built as the Victoria Pavilion Theatre in 1897 and was an extension to the existing Winter Gardens complex, which has since been demolished. Morecambe Winter Gardens is situated 330 feet east of Laser Rush.

The Morecambe and Heysham War Memorial stands on the Promenade at Morecambe, Lancashire, England. It has two inscriptions in black lettering, after which are listed the names of those remembered The memorial remembers the 216 men who died in the First World War, the 180 in the Second World War and the single man who was killed in the Korean War.

Poulton-le-Sands is one of three small villages that combined to create Morecambe, Lancashire, England, the other two being Torrisholme and Bare. A local board of health was established in 1852, which, taking its name from Morecambe Bay, became the borough of Morecambe in 1902.

Torrisholme is a suburb of Morecambe, Lancashire, on the North West coast of England. In the 2001 census, the Torrisholme Ward had a population of 6,758 living in 3,118 households, decreasing marginally to 6,755 at the 2011 Census. Torrisholme is situated 1½ miles east of Laser Rush.

Heysham is a coastal village in the Lancaster district of Lancashire, England, overlooking Morecambe Bay. It is a ferry port, with services to the Isle of Man and Ireland, and the site of two nuclear power stations. Heysham is situated 1½ miles southwest of Laser Rush.
