The Mexico City Mexico Temple is the 28th constructed and 26th operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The intent to build the temple was announced on April 3, 1967, by church president Spencer W. Mexico City Mexico Temple is situated 440 metres east of Nave 1.

Madero borough of Mexico City. Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe is situated 3½ km northwest of Nave 1.
