Akko, also known historically to Arabs as عكّا and Westerners as Acre, lies on the northern edge of the Bay of Acre in northern Israel and receives many Baha'i pilgrims.

Nahariyya is a small city with a population of 50,000 in the Western Galilee in the north of Israel.
