Lawyacado is a town in the Awdal region of Somaliland. It is situated on the border with Djibouti. The town across the border in Djibouti is Loyada, a name derived from the Afar language, which when rewritten in Somali style becomes Lawyacado. Lawyacado is situated 6 km northwest of Daqab.
