Salkhad is a Syrian city in the Suwayda Governorate, southern Syria. It is the capital of Salkhad District, one of the governorate's three districts. It had a population of 9,155 inhabitants in the 2004 census. Salkhad is situated 4½ km north of ‘Ayn Salmá.
