Qudsaya is a Syrian city in Rif Dimashq Governorate and the administrative centre of Qudsaya District. The city is located on the western slope of Mount Qasioun, 7 km west of Damascus. Qudsaiya is situated 7 km northeast of Makhlī.

Qura al-Sham is a Syrian village in the Qudsaya District of the Rif Dimashq Governorate. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics, Qura al-Sham had a population of 1,067 in the 2004 census. Until 2024, the village was known as Qura al-Assad. Qura al-Sham is situated 7 km northwest of Makhlī.

Mezzeh is a municipality in Damascus, Syria, due west of Kafr Sousa. It lies to the southwest of central Damascus, along the Mazzeh highway. It started gaining importance when the French constructed Mezzeh Air Base, which was the main airport in Damascus until Damascus International Airport opened. Al Mazzeh is situated 7 km east of Makhlī.
