Maskanah, also spelled Meskene, is a town in northern Syria, administratively part of the Manbij District of the Aleppo Governorate. The town is located 100 kilometres southeast of Aleppo on the Lake Assad part of the Euphrates. Maskanah is situated 8 km northeast of Madīnat al Fa’r.
