It lies about 2 kilometers north-east of Tell Hammam et-Turkman.The site consists of four prehistoric mounds that are numbered Tell Sabi Abyad I to IV. Tell Sabi Abyad is situated 4 km northeast of Shārat Tall al Ḩammām.
