Serghaya or Sirghaya is a small town located in the Damascus countryside in south west Syria. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics, Serghaya had a population of 7,501 in the 2004 census. Its inhabitants are predominantly Sunni Muslims. Serghaya is situated 5 km northeast of ‘Ayn Ḩawr.

Bloudan is a Syrian village located 51 kilometers north-west of Damascus, in the Rif Dimashq Governorate; it has an altitude of about 1500 meters. In the 2004 census by the Central Bureau of Statistics it had a population of 3,101. Bloudan is situated 5 km south of ‘Ayn Ḩawr.

It is located in the center of a green valley surrounded by high mountains at an elevation of around 1,100 m. Al-Zabadani is situated 6 km southwest of ‘Ayn Ḩawr.
