The Daskalopetra monument is a rock-cut shrine to the goddess Cybele at Daskalopetra, near Vrontados on Chios, in Greece, dating to the late sixth or early fifth century BC. It is probably the earliest known cult site of the Cybele in the Greek world.

Anavatos is a medieval, now abandoned, village on the Greek island of Chios, 16 km from Chios. Created in the Byzantine era, probably by workers of the Nea Moni of Chios, the village was abandoned after the Massacre of Chios in 1822 and the earthquake of 1881. Anavatos is situated 10 km west of Vrontados.
