Horvat ’Anim

Horvat ʽAnim or Khirbet Ghuwein al-Tahta is a ruined hamlet and archaeological locality in the southern fringes of the Hebron Hills, within Israel’s Southern District, inside the Yatir Forest. Horvat ’Anim is situated 1½ km south of Rujm al Midfa‘.

Yatir Forest is a forest in Israel on the edge of the Negev Desert. The forest covers an area of 30,000 dunams, and is the largest planted forest in Israel. Weizmann Institute Yatir Research Site is situated 3 km southwest of Rujm al Midfa‘.
