Horvat ʽAnim or Khirbet Ghuwein al-Tahta is a ruined hamlet and archaeological locality in the southern fringes of the Hebron Hills, within Israel’s Southern District, inside the Yatir Forest.

Yatir Forest is a forest in Israel on the edge of the Negev Desert. The forest covers an area of 30,000 dunams, and is the largest planted forest in Israel.

Jattir

Jattir is a town in Judea mentioned several times in the Hebrew Bible. It was known as Iethira during the 4th century CE, when it was a Christian town. Jattir is situated 4 km west of Sheikh Mashhūr.

Asa'el, also known as Mitzpe Asa'el, is an Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Located three kilometres south-east of Shim'a, it falls under the jurisdiction of Har Hevron Regional Council. Asa’el is situated 2½ km northwest of Sheikh Mashhūr.
