The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, commonly known as the Egyptian Museum and also called the Cairo Museum or the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, is a national history museum in Cairo, Egypt. Egyptian Museum is situated 240 metres south of Bāb al Lūq.

The Cairo Tower is a free-standing concrete tower in Cairo, Egypt. At 187 m, it was the tallest structure in Egypt for 37 years until 1998, when it was surpassed by the Suez Canal overhead powerline crossing. Cairo Tower is situated 1 km southwest of Bāb al Lūq.
