Sidon's Sea Castle was built by the crusaders in the thirteenth century as a fortress of the Holy Land. It is one of the most prominent historical sites in the port city of Sidon, Lebanon. Sidon Sea Castle is situated 1 km northwest of Ed Deïr.

The Castle of Saint Louis, also known as Qalaat al Muizz or the Land Castle, is a ruined castle in Sidon, Lebanon. It was built in 1254 by French crusaders on the site of an earlier Fatimid fortress, and was altered a number of times until the 17th century. Sidon Land Castle is situated 1 km west of Ed Deïr.

The Soap Museum is a museum based in a historic soap factory in Sidon, Lebanon specialized in Levantine soaps. It opened in November 2000 and is managed by the Audi Foundation. Sidon Soap Museum is situated 800 metres west of Ed Deïr.
