Parnas is the northern terminus of the Moskovsko-Petrogradskaya Line of the Saint Petersburg Metro. It was opened on 22 December 2006 and is located between the tunnel portal and the Vyborgskoye Metro Depot.

Prospekt Prosvescheniya is a station of the Saint Petersburg Metro located between stations Ozerki and Parnas. It took its name from a nearby avenue. It was opened on 19 August 1988.

Formerly a settlement, it was granted a town status on 27 March 2019. The population of Murino is about 89 thousand. Murino is situated 4½ km east of Vyborgsky Distric.
