Zvečan Fortress

The Fortress of Zvečan, also known as Zvečan/Zveçan medieval fortress and Fortress of Mitrovica, located in the northwest of the city of North Mitrovica, in Kosovo, is an enormous castle and one of the oldest fortresses in Southeastern Europe.

Miners‘ Monument

The Monument to the Serbian and Albanian Partisans honors the Albanian and Serbian partisans from the Republic of Kosovo who died in World War II in Yugoslavia from 1941–1945. Miners‘ Monument is situated 3 km southeast of Zvečan.

Zvečan or Zveçan is a town and municipality located in the Mitrovica District in Kosovo. As of 2015, it has a population of 16,650 inhabitants. It covers an area of 122 km2, and consists of a town and 35 villages.
