The Premier Mine is an underground diamond mine owned by Petra Diamonds in the town of Cullinan, 40 kilometres east of Pretoria, Gauteng Province, South Africa.

The Zonderwater concentration camp was a prisoners of war camp that was established in 1941 during World War II in South Africa. Consisting initially of tents, in the Cullinan area, this internment camp became the biggest Allied concentration camp, with almost 100 000 POW. Zonderwater POW camp is situated 3½ km southeast of Cullinan.
