Jelep La elevation 14,390 feet, is a high mountain pass between Sikkim, India and Tibet Autonomous Region, China. It is on a route that connects Lhasa to India.

Menmecho Lake is a mountain lake located in Gangtok district in the Indian state of Sikkim. It lies on the way to the Jelep Pass and is situated 20 kilometres ahead of the Lake Tsomgo. Lake Menmecho is situated 3 km west of Kopup.
