Marlborough is a small town of 150 in Central Queensland along the Bruce Highway between Rockhampton and Mackay. It doesn't have much going for it, but it is the only town for a decent bit as the section of highway between Rocky and Mackay contain a fair bit of nothingness and makes for a good place to break the drive.
