Cardigan Castle is a castle overlooking the River Teifi in Cardigan, Ceredigion, Wales. It is a Grade I listed building. The castle dates from the late 11th-century, though was rebuilt in 1244. Castle Green House was built inside the castle walls in the early 1800s. Cardigan Castle is situated 2 miles south of Ferwig.

Gwbert, also known as Gwbert-on-Sea, is a cliff-top coastal village in Y Ferwig community, Ceredigion, Wales. It lies at the most southerly coastal point of Ceredigion, on the eastern shore of the Teifi estuary, from where there are views westwards over Cardigan Bay, and south-westwards to Poppit Sands and the headland of Cemaes Head, in neighbouring Pembrokeshire.

Mwnt is an ancient parish in Ceredigion, Wales, 4.5 miles north of Cardigan. The Wales Coast Path passes through this very small settlement. It gets its name from the prominent steep conical hill, a landmark from much of Cardigan Bay, that rises above the beach to a height of 76 m, and was formerly anglicised as Mount. Mwnt is situated 2 miles northeast of Ferwig.

Penparc is a village in Ceredigion, Wales, on the A487 road 3 miles northeast of Cardigan. The surrounding land is principally used for cattle grazing although the significant glacial sand deposits are also commercially used as a source of sand and gravel.
