Sweyn Holm

Sweyn Holm is a small island in the Orkney Islands, next to . It is thought to be named for Sweyn Asleifsson, who was connected with Gairsay or possibly a corruption of "servant's island" in Norse.

Cobbie Row's Castle is the oldest medieval castle known to exist in Scotland. The castle ruins are located on the island of . Built in the mid-12 century by Norse landowner, Kolbeinn hrúga, the stone fortification originally consisted of a small, central tower set in an oval enclosure, surrounded by two ditches, a stone wall and an earthen rampart. is situated 2½ miles northwest of Sweyn Holm.
