Inner Holm is a small inhabited island in Stromness harbour and one of the Orkney islands of Scotland. It is about 350 metres east of the harbour front of Stromness but it is connected to the Orkney Mainland shore at low tide on the opposite side of the bay. Inner Holm is situated 2 miles northwest of Sand Eel.

Stromness
Stromness is a port on the Mainland of the Orkney Islands, with a population of roughly 2200. To the Vikings, Straumsnes meant the headland just south, where a fierce tide rips between Scapa Flow and the Atlantic; get past that and you came safely into Hamnavoe or "peaceful harbour" where the town now stands.
