Allt yr Esgair is a hill in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Powys, Wales. It is commonly referred to locally as simply 'The Allt'. The Welsh name signifies 'wooded slope of the ridge'.

It is centred on the confluence between the Clydach brook meets the Caerfanell river, and on a minor road which runs south from Talybont-on-Usk. Aber is situated 2 miles southwest of Llansantffread.
