Sound Gruney is one of the Shetland islands. It lies about 1.5 kilometres north of Hamars Ness on Fetlar, south of Unst, and to the east of Yell. Sound Gruney is situated 2 miles southeast of Linga.

Belmont House

Belmont House is a neo-classical Georgian country house estate on the island of Unst, the most northerly of the Shetland Islands, United Kingdom. It was constructed in 1775 by Shetland landowner Thomas Mouat of Garth who was a local Shetlander. Belmont House is situated 1½ miles north of Linga.

Gutcher is a settlement on the northeast coast of Yell in the Shetland islands. From here, rollon/roll off ferry services to Belmont on Unst and Hamars Ness on Fetlar operate.

Belmont is a settlement and ferry terminal in southern Unst in the Shetland Islands. The ferry crosses Bluemull Sound from here to Gutcher in Yell and to Hamars Ness in Fetlar. Belmont House, a Georgian mansion built in 1775 by Thomas Mouat, was restored by Historic Scotland amongst others, and opened to the public in 2011.

Uyeasound is a village on the Isle of Unst, the northernmost island of the Shetland Islands, Scotland. It takes its name from the neighbouring strait of the same name, which looks over to the Isle of Uyea. Uyeasound is situated 3 miles northeast of Linga.
