Lowther Hill is a hill in the Lowther Hills range, part of the Southern Uplands of Scotland. Although the hill lends its name to the range, it is the second highest point of the Lowther Hills and lies on the border between Lanarkshire and Dumfries and Galloway, east of the town of Sanquhar, however the true summit lies just within Lanarkshire.

Dun Law is a hill in the Lowther Hills range, part of the Southern Uplands of Scotland. It is the next Donald after Green Lowther, the highest point of the ridge, when walking northeast and is usually ascended from this direction.

Elvanfoot is a small village in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. Elvanfoot is located at the confluence of the River Clyde and Elvan Water. The Clyde is crossed by a pedestrian suspension bridge that has been closed since 2007 for want of repair.
