Askim Station is located at Askim, Norway on the Eastern Østfold Line. The railway station is served by the Oslo Commuter Rail line L22 from Oslo Central Station. The station was opened with the eastern line of Østfold Line in 1882. Askim station is situated 2½ km northeast of Sulu.

Østfoldbadet is a water park located in Askim, Norway. The park was officially opened on December 16, 2000. Construction commenced on August 31, 1999 and was completed in December 2000. Østfoldbadet is situated 3 km northeast of Sulu.

Askim Upper Secondary School is an Upper Secondary School situated in the outskirts of the municipality of Askim. It was originally two different schools; Hov Upper Secondary School and Ask Upper secondary School, but they merged to Askim Upper Secondary School for practical reasons.
