Milford Mills is an 18th-century watermill which sits on the banks of the River Barrow at Milford, County Carlow. Originally built as a flour mill and malting house, it was later employed as a hydroelectric power station. Milford Mills is situated 4 km east of Tomara.

Old Leighlin, also Oldleighlin, is a village, civil parish and townland in County Carlow, Ireland. The village is 3.5 km west of Leighlinbridge. The site was at one time one of the foremost monastic houses in Leinster, with 1,500 monks in residence. Old Leighlin is situated 5 km south of Tomara.
