The Island of Vukovar is a disputed island on the river Danube. It is situated close to the city of Vukovar, Croatia. During the existence of SFR Yugoslavia, the island was part of SR Croatia.

Vukovar water tower

The Vukovar water tower is a structure in Vukovar, Croatia, and one of the most recognizable symbols of the city and the entire country. Built in 1968 in the Socialist Republic of Croatia in Yugoslavia, it became a powerful symbol of resistance, sacrifice, and unity during the Croatian War of Independence. Vukovar water tower is situated 3½ km west of Plavanski Rit.

Vučedol in Croatia, is an archeological site, an elevated ground on the right bank of the River Danube, which also forms the border with Serbia. Vučedol became the eponym of the eneolithic Vučedol culture.
