The Pitons are two mountainous volcanic plugs, volcanic spires, located in Saint Lucia. Petit Piton is 743 m high and Gros Piton is 798.25 m high; they are linked by the Piton Mitan ridge. Pitons is situated 2 miles west of Belle Vue.

Qualibou, also known as the Soufrière Volcanic Center, is a 3.5 × 5 km-wide caldera on the island of Saint Lucia that formed between 32,000 and 39,000 years ago. Qualibou is situated 2½ miles north of Belle Vue.

Choiseul was originally known as Anse Citron, and an independent parish was established in 1765. In 1769 a census was done and recorded 75 whites, 25 free coloured, 512 negroes and 69 estates in Choiseul. Choiseul is situated 2½ miles southwest of Belle Vue.
