Yr Aran is a mountain peak on a ridge radiating south from Snowdon, Wales' highest mountain, with views of the summit of Snowdon, Moel Hebog and the Nantlle Ridge.

Llyn Dinas

Llyn Dinas is a lake near Beddgelert, Gwynedd in north Wales. It is formed by the River Glaslyn. Llyn Dinas lies on the valley floor a few miles north of Beddgelert at an altitude of about 55 metres above sea level.

Sygun Copper Mine

Sygun Copper Mine is a Victorian copper mine which closed in 1903 but was renovated and reopened by the Amies family as a tourist attraction in 1986, focusing on audio-visual tours of the underground workings.

Rhyd Ddu

Rhyd-ddu is a small village in Snowdonia, North Wales which is a starting point for walks up Snowdon, Moel Hebog, Yr Aran and the Nantlle Ridge. It lies on the A4085 4 miles north of Beddgelert, at its junction with the B4418 to Nantlle and Penygroes. Rhyd Ddu railway station is one of the stops on the Welsh Highland Railway between Caernarfon and Porthmadog.

Nantmor

Nantmor is a hamlet which lies about 1½ miles to the south of the village of Beddgelert in Gwynedd, Wales. The current spelling of the name Nantmor is more modern – most old documents from the 16th to the 18th century record the name as Nanmor. Nantmor is situated 2½ miles south of Beddgelert.
