Nant Gwynant is a valley in northern Wales. The A498 road descends 600 feet into the valley in about two miles from Pen-y-Gwryd; it follows the Nant Cynnyd, the Afon Glaslyn and alongside Llyn Gwynant, then beside the Nant Gwynant river to Llyn Dinas and passing below Dinas Emrys to Beddgelert.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Snowdon, or Yr Wyddfa, is a mountain in Snowdonia in North Wales. It has an elevation of 1,085 metres above sea level, which makes it both the highest mountain in Wales and the highest in the British Isles south of the Scottish Highlands. Snowdon is situated 2½ miles northwest of Nant Gwynant.

Nantmor is a hamlet which lies about 1½ miles to the south of the village of Beddgelert in Gwynedd, Wales. The current spelling of the name Nantmor is more modern – most old documents from the 16th to the 18th century record the name as Nanmor. Nantmor is situated 3½ miles southwest of Nant Gwynant.
Rhyd Ddu
Rhyd-ddu is a small village in Snowdonia, North Wales which is a starting point for walks up Snowdon, Moel Hebog, Yr Aran and the Nantlle Ridge. It lies on the A4085 between Beddgelert and Caernarfon, at its junction with the B4418 to Nantlle and Penygroes. Rhyd Ddu railway station is one of the stops on the Welsh Highland Railway between Caernarfon and Porthmadog.

Croesor is a small village in Gwynedd, Wales, located at the foot of Cnicht, in Cwm Croesor, in the community of Llanfrothen. The Croesor Tramway travelled along the bed of the cwm, before rising steeply to Bwlch Rhosydd via Croesor Incline. Croesor is situated 4 miles south of Nant Gwynant.
