The Damascus Opera House is the national opera house of Syria. Inaugurated on 7 May 2004, it is located in central Damascus, on the Umayyad Square. Damascus Opera House is situated 220 metres north of Sāḩat ‘Abd ar Raḩmān ad Dākhil.
