Hejaz railway station is a former main railway station in central Damascus, Syria, close to the Marjeh Square. It was built as part of the Hejaz railway project. Hejaz Railway Station is situated 160 metres southeast of Sūq aş Şinā‘āt al Yadawīyah.

Sulaymaniya Takiya

The Sulaymaniyya Takiyya is a takiyya, located in Damascus, Syria, on the right bank of the Barada River. Commissioned by the Ottoman sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, the western building of the complex was built, following the plans of Mimar Sinan, between 1554 and 1559. Sulaymaniya Takiya is situated 210 metres west of Sūq aş Şinā‘āt al Yadawīyah.
