al-Bassa was a Palestinian Arab village in the Mandatory Palestine's Acre Subdistrict. It was situated close to the Lebanese border, 19 kilometers north of the district capital, Acre, and 65 meters above sea level. Al-Bassa is situated 4 km southeast of Rosh Hanikra.

An-Naqoura is a municipality in southern Lebanon. Since March 23, 1978, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon has been headquartered in An-Naqoura. Naqoura is situated 3½ km northeast of Rosh Hanikra.
