The Great Mosque of Aleppo, also known as the Great Umayyad Mosque of Aleppo, was the largest and one of the oldest mosques in the city of Aleppo, Syria, first built during the Umayyad Caliphate. Great Mosque of Aleppo is situated 1¼ km southeast of Saadallah al-Jabiri Square.

Baron Hotel, is the oldest hotel that currently operates in Syria. It is located on Baron street in down-town Aleppo's Aziziyeh district. The Baron has sustained some civil war-related minor damage but is still standing. Baron Hotel is situated 300 metres southeast of Saadallah al-Jabiri Square.
