Beth Guvrin

Beth Guvrin or Beit Guvrin is a national park located in south-central Israel, in the Shfela region. It is a particularly good place to visit in summer, because its caves are cool and shady even when it's scorching outside.

Maresha was an Iron Age city mentioned in the Hebrew Bible, whose remains have been excavated at Tell Sandahanna, an archaeological mound or 'tell' renamed after its identification to Tel Maresha. Tel Maresha is situated 3 km northeast of H̱orbat Sheqofa.

Lachish was an ancient Canaanite and later Israelite city in the Shephelah region of Canaan on the south bank of the Lakhish River. The current tell by that name, known as Tel Lachish or Tell el-Duweir, has been identified with Lachish. Lakhish is situated 3 km southwest of H̱orbat Sheqofa.

Lakhish is a moshav in the northern Negev in south-central Israel. Located south-east of Kiryat Gat, it falls under the jurisdiction of Lakhish Regional Council. Lakhish is situated 3½ km southwest of H̱orbat Sheqofa.

Beit Guvrin

Beit Guvrin is a kibbutz in the Lakhish region, west of the ancient city of Beit Guvrin, for which it is named. Located 14 kilometres east of Kiryat Gat, it falls under the jurisdiction of Yoav Regional Council. In 2023 it had a population of 483. Beit Guvrin is situated 4½ km northeast of H̱orbat Sheqofa.
