Maabatli, is a town in northern Syria, administratively part of the Aleppo Governorate, located northwest of Aleppo in the center of Afrin District. Nearby localities include Afrin to the southeast, Rajo to the northwest and Jindires to the south. Maabatli is situated 9 km north of Al Fusḩah.

The Ain Dara is settlement best known for its destroyed Iron Age Syro-Hittite temple. The temple is noted for its similarities to Solomon's Temple, also known as the "First Temple in Jerusalem", as described in the Hebrew Bible. Ain Dara is situated 10 km east of Al Fusḩah.
