Umm el-Umdan or Khirbet Umm el-Umdan is a Jewish archaeological site within the municipal boundaries of the Israeli city of Modi'in. Um El Umdan is situated 530 metres east of H̱orbat Sher.

Bayt Shanna was a Palestinian Arab village in the Ramle Subdistrict of Mandatory Palestine. It was depopulated during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War on July 15, 1948, during the second stage of Operation Dani. It was located 11.5 km southeast of Ramla. Bayt Shanna is situated 610 metres southwest of H̱orbat Sher.
