Antipatris was a city built during the first century BC by Herod the Great, who named it in honour of his father, Antipater. The site, now a national park in central Israel, was inhabited from the Chalcolithic period to the Late Roman period.

Kfar Avraham

Kfar Avraham was a moshav founded by the Hapoel HaMizrachi organization in March 1932. Kfar Avraham officially became part of Petah Tikva in 1952 and is today a neighborhood in the northern part of the city. Kfar Avraham is situated 2½ km southwest of Maqorot HaYarqon.
