The Sderot railway station is a railway station located near the southern entrance to Sderot, Israel. It is situated on the Ashkelon–Beersheba railway. Sderot is situated 3½ km southeast of Naẖal Meqorot.

The Hesder Yeshiva of Sderot, known formally as the Max and Ruth Schwartz Yeshivat Hesder of Sderot, was founded in 1995 by Rabbi Dovid E. Fendel. The yeshiva is located in the town of Sderot, one kilometer from the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian Arab town of Beit Hanoun. Hesder Yeshiva of Sderot is situated 3½ km southeast of Naẖal Meqorot.

Erez

Erez is a kibbutz in southwestern Israel. Located just 1 kilometre north of the Gaza Strip, it is the namesake of the nearby Erez Crossing. The kibbutz was founded in 1949 and moved to its current location in 1950. Erez is situated 2½ km north of Naẖal Meqorot.

Nir Am

Nir Am is a kibbutz in southern Israel. Located next to the city of Sderot and around two kilometres from the Gaza Strip, the kibbutz covers 20,000 dunams. It falls under the jurisdiction of Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council. In 2024 it had a population of 733. Nir Am is situated 3 km southeast of Naẖal Meqorot.

Sderot is a western Negev city and former development town in the Southern District of Israel. In 2024, it had a population of 37,239. Sderot is located less than a mile from Gaza, and is notable for having been a major target of Qassam rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip.
