The Lehavim–Rahat railway station is a station on the Israel Railways lines between Tel Aviv and Beersheba, located near Lehavim Junction. The station was opened on June 23, 2007. Lehavim Rahat is situated 2 km northeast of Khirbat el ‘Umarī.

Giv'ot Bar is a community settlement in the northern Negev desert in southern Israel. Located to the south of the Bedouin city of Rahat, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bnei Shimon Regional Council. In 2023 it had a population of 1,344. Giv’ot Bar is situated 2½ km west of Khirbat el ‘Umarī.
