RRH Benbecula

Remote Radar Head Benbecula or RRH Benbecula, is an air defence radar station operated by the Royal Air Force. Despite its name, it is not located on the nearby island of Benbecula; instead it is located on South Clettraval on the isle of North Uist, 11 miles from Lochmaddy in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. RRH Benbecula is situated 1½ miles southeast of Baleloch.

Scolpaig Tower is a Georgian folly located near the village of Scolpaig on the island of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. The name probably derives from the Old Norse scolpvik, or 'Scolp Bay'.

Tigharry is a small village on the west of North Uist. It is mostly a farming community. There are a few rocky beaches and one point of interest is Kettle's Cave.
