Bayfront MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit interchange station on the Downtown Line and Circle Line. Located in the Downtown Core of Singapore, the station is underneath Bayfront Avenue and serves the main tourist attractions of Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay. Bayfront is situated 170 metres southwest of Marina Bay Sands.

The Merlion is a mythical creature with a lion's head and a fish's tail that is widely used as a mascot and national personification of Singapore.
