Dora Observatory is on the South Korean side of the 38th parallel. Situated on top of Dorasan in Paju, the observatory provides scenic views across the Demilitarized Zone. Dorasan Observatory is situated 1 km southeast of Je Sam Ttanggul.

Dorasan station is a railway station situated on the Gyeongui–Jungang Line, which formerly connected North Korean and South Korean rail systems and has since been restored. Dorasan is situated 2 km southeast of Je Sam Ttanggul.

Daeseong-dong

Daeseong-dong is a village in South Korea close to the North Korean border. It lies within the Korean Demilitarized Zone. The village is about 1.6 kilometres south of the Bridge of No Return, and 12 km from the city of Kaesong, North Korea. Daeseong-dong is situated 3½ km northwest of Je Sam Ttanggul.

Panmunjeom, also P'anmunjŏm, is on the demarcation line between North and South Korea. It is a living relic of the Cold War era. It can only be visited on an organized tour.

Kijŏng-dong, Kijŏngdong, Kijŏng tong or Kaepoong is a Potemkin village in P'yŏnghwa-ri, Panmun-guyok, Kaesong Special City, North Korea. It is situated in the North's half of the Korean Demilitarized Zone. Kijong-dong is situated 5 km northwest of Je Sam Ttanggul.
