Dora Observatory is on the South Korean side of the 38th parallel. Situated on top of Dorasan in Paju, the observatory provides scenic views across the Demilitarized Zone. Dorasan Observatory is situated 1 km southeast of Tunnel Number 3.

Dorasan station is a railway station situated on the Gyeongui–Jungang Line, which formerly connected North Korean and South Korean rail systems and has since been restored. Dorasan is situated 2 km southeast of Tunnel Number 3.

Camp Bonifas is a United Nations Command military post located 400 m south of the southern boundary of the Korean Demilitarized Zone. It is 2,400 m south of the Military Demarcation Line, which forms the border between South Korea and North Korea. Camp Bonifas is situated 3 km northeast of Tunnel Number 3.

Daeseong-dong is a village in South Korea close to the North Korean border. It lies within the Korean Demilitarized Zone. The village is about 1.6 kilometres south of the Bridge of No Return, and 12 km from the city of Kaesong, North Korea. Daeseong-dong is situated 3½ km northwest of Tunnel Number 3.

Panmunjeom, also P'anmunjŏm, is on the demarcation line between North and South Korea. It is a living relic of the Cold War era. It can only be visited on an organized tour.
