Dorasan station is a railway station situated on the Gyeongui–Jungang Line, which formerly connected North Korean and South Korean rail systems and has since been restored.

Dora Observatory is on the South Korean side of the 38th parallel. Situated on top of Dorasan in Paju, the observatory provides scenic views across the Demilitarized Zone. Dorasan Observatory is situated 1¼ km north of Dorasan.

The Third Tunnel of Aggression is one of four known tunnels under the border between North Korea and South Korea, extending south of Panmunjom. Tunnel Number 3 is situated 2 km northwest of Dorasan.

Daeseong-dong is a village in South Korea close to the North Korean border. It lies within the Korean Demilitarized Zone. The village is about 1.6 kilometres south of the Bridge of No Return, and 12 km from the city of Kaesong, North Korea. Daeseong-dong is situated 5 km northwest of Dorasan.

Kijŏng-dong, Kijŏngdong, Kijŏng tong or Kaepoong is a Potemkin village in P'yŏnghwa-ri, Panmun-guyok, Kaesong Special City, North Korea. It is situated in the North's half of the Korean Demilitarized Zone. Kijong-dong is situated 7 km northwest of Dorasan.
