Selimiye Mosque

Selimiye Mosque, historically known as Cathedral of Saint Sophia or Ayasofya Mosque, is a former Christian cathedral converted into a mosque, located in North Nicosia. Selimiye Mosque is situated 3½ km west of Lefkoşa District.

Haydar Pasha Mosque, formerly St. Catherine's Church, is a historic mosque in North Nicosia. It is the most important Gothic building in Nicosia after Ayia Sophia, formerly the Frankish cathedral of Nicosia. Haydar Pasha Mosque is situated 3½ km west of Lefkoşa District.
