Lefkoşa District
Lefkoşa District is a district of Northern Cyprus. It is divided into two sub-districts: Lefkoşa Sub-district and Değirmenlik Sub-district. Its population is 97,293 according to the 2011 census. Güzelyurt District has been separated from Lefkoşa District.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Haydar Pasha Mosque, formerly St. Catherine's Church, is a historic mosque in North Nicosia. It is the most important Gothic building in Nicosia after Ayia Sophia, formerly the Frankish cathedral of Nicosia. Haydar Pasha Mosque is situated 3½ km west of Lefkoşa District.
