The Great St Bernard Pass is the third highest road pass in Switzerland, at an elevation of 2,469 m. It connects Martigny in the canton of Valais in Switzerland with Aosta in the region Aosta Valley in Italy. Great St Bernard Pass is situated 3½ km east of Col du Fourchon.

The Grand Golliat is a mountain of the Pennine Alps, located between the Petit Col Ferret and the Great St. Bernard Pass. At 3,238 metres above sea level, its summit straddles the border between Switzerland and Italy, separating the Swiss canton of Valais from the Italian region of Aosta Valley.
