The Roccia Nera is a peak of the Breithorn range in the Pennine Alps, on the boundary between the Aosta Valley and canton of Valais. It is the easternmost summit of the Breithorn massif, located east of the Gendarm.

Pollux is a mountain in the Pennine Alps on the border between Valais, Switzerland and the Aosta Valley in Italy. It is the lower of a pair of twin peaks, the other being Castor, named after the Gemini twins of Roman mythology.

Riffelalp is a hamlet in the municipality of Zermatt in the canton of Valais. It is located at a height of 2,222 metres above sea level, just above the tree line, approximately halfway between the town of Zermatt and the Gornergrat mountain. Riffelalp is situated 8 km north of Schwarztor.
